Joinery in Jumeirah Park
Joinery in Jumeirah Park goes hand in hand with extensions. The Nakheel villas sit on large plots, so many owners add a room, a majlis or a bigger kitchen, and then need the joinery to match. We design the fitted work for both the original house and the new space, and we build it in our own workshop.
Legacy, Heritage and Regional villas each have their own style, so no two briefs look alike. So we design to the house you have, from the door profiles to the colour of the existing floor.
Fig. 01Walk-in wardrobe, workshop-builtWhy joinery in Jumeirah Park is its own job
Jumeirah Park was built by Nakheel between Jumeirah Islands and Jumeirah Village. The villas come in three styles, Legacy, Heritage and Regional, with three to five bedrooms and some of the largest plots in a Dubai community. Because the land is generous, extensions are everywhere. A ground-floor majlis, a bigger kitchen or a pool house changes the house, and the joinery has to follow.
As a result, that gives us two kinds of brief. The first is the original house: full-height wardrobes to replace the developer units, as well as a kitchen refit and a media wall for the family room. The second is the extension itself, where we fit the kitchen, the majlis seating, the doors and the storage that the builder otherwise leaves out. We often work alongside the contractor, so our drawings are ready when the plaster is dry.
Nakheel manages the community, and extensions need their approval as well as a Dubai Municipality permit. Internal joinery needs neither. When a job includes external work, we supply the trade documents and coordinate with your contractor on the application.

Recent work in villas and extensions
Joinery in Jumeirah Park homes often spans the old house and the new room. These examples also show both kinds of work at the finish level we deliver.
From survey to installation
If an extension is involved, timing for joinery in Jumeirah Park matters. We survey early, draw while the build is under way, and then install as soon as the room is ready. The steps are the same in either case.
Survey
Before anything else, we visit the house, measure every wall that matters and photograph the space. Send the villa type beforehand, because it tells us a lot before we arrive.
Drawings
Following that, you receive the layout, the materials and the finish samples. Nothing goes to the workshop until you approve it.
Fixed quotation
We price it line by line, so you can remove an item without re-pricing the rest. Then compare it using our guide to comparing joinery quotes.
Manufacture
Then we cut, assemble and finish every piece at our Ras Al Khor workshop. Your home stays clean while the dusty work happens elsewhere.
Installation
Finally, our own fitters, usually one to three days on site. We scribe to the walls and adjust every door before we leave.
Materials and finishes for joinery in Jumeirah Park
Joinery in Jumeirah Park villas takes heavy family use, so we specify for durability and finish together. These are, in short, the three materials we use most here.
Veneer
The closest you get to solid timber, at a much lower price than the real thing. Oak, walnut and ash are the usual choices, and we also match the grain across doors.
Sprayed lacquer
Gives the flat, seamless face that most modern kitchens and wardrobes need, especially in handle-less designs. Any colour, matt or satin, and it also repaints later.
Solid timber
For tables, stair treads and anything that takes daily knocks, so strength comes first. We use kiln-dried hardwood so it stays stable in air conditioning.
Every carcass is moisture-resistant board, every hinge is soft-close and, above all, every edge is sealed. If you are comparing suppliers, read our guide to comparing joinery quotes first.
Where we work in Jumeirah Park
We cover all districts of Jumeirah Park, every villa style, and the neighbouring Jumeirah Islands and Jumeirah Village communities.
The workshop in Ras Al Khor is about 30 minutes away, so a return visit is never a problem. For other communities see areas we serve in Dubai, or send your district number on WhatsApp.
FAQs about joinery in Jumeirah Park
Can you work alongside my extension contractor?
Yes, and in fact we do it often. We survey the drawings, agree the wall positions and services, and then deliver the joinery as soon as the room is plastered and painted. One point of contact on our side also keeps it simple.
Does internal joinery need Nakheel approval?
No. Internal work, however, needs no approval. Extensions and external changes need Nakheel approval and a municipality permit under the Dubai Building Code, and we supply the trade documents for that application.
Can you match the original Heritage or Legacy doors?
Yes. We take a profile from an existing door and make the new ones to match, or we fit plain veneered doors if you prefer a modern look. See the interior doors page.
How long does a majlis take?
Four to six weeks from approved drawings, including the seating. Installation then takes two to three days once the room is ready.
What does a fitted wardrobe cost?
It depends on width, interior and finish, as well as the hardware. Our fitted wardrobe cost guide gives current ranges, and the survey turns them into a fixed figure.
Can you fit out a pool house or garden room?
Yes. We build kitchenettes, seating and storage for garden rooms, in materials that handle humidity. See our outdoor furniture page for timbers and finishes.
