Carpentry in Mira Oasis
Carpentry in Mira Oasis is mostly about storage and the family room. The townhouses are a little larger than in Mira next door, so there is room for a real pantry, a proper study and a media wall that hides the cables.
We measure the house, build the pieces in our Ras Al Khor workshop and install them with our own fitters. In other words, one team, one quotation, one point of contact.
Fig. 01Media wall, fitted and wired on siteWhy carpentry in Mira Oasis is its own job
Mira Oasis 1, 2 and 3 were built by Emaar as the second phase of Reem. The townhouses run from Type A to Type J, with three to four bedrooms, and most have a small maid’s room and a garden. Compared to Mira, the ground floors are more open. That is good for family life, but it leaves the television and the dining area without a wall to anchor them.
So the most common request is a media wall that creates a focal point without closing the room. The second is bedroom storage, because the built-in wardrobes are shallow and stop short of the ceiling. We take them to full height and plan the interior around shirts, abayas, suitcases and whatever else you need to put away.
Mira Oasis also has a high share of owner-occupiers who plan to stay. For that reason, we suggest finishes that will still look right in ten years: oak and walnut veneers, sprayed lacquer in muted colours, and hardware we can replace if a child is unkind to it.

From survey to installation
Tell us the house type and send a few photographs. Because we have done carpentry in Mira Oasis layouts of every type before, we can often give a budget figure the same day and a fixed quotation after the survey.
Survey
Before anything else, we visit the house, measure every wall that matters and photograph the space. Send the villa type beforehand, because it tells us a lot before we arrive.
Drawings
Following that, you receive the layout, the materials and the finish samples. Nothing goes to the workshop until you approve it.
Fixed quotation
We price it line by line, so you can remove an item without re-pricing the rest. Then compare it using our guide to comparing joinery quotes.
Manufacture
Then we cut, assemble and finish every piece at our Ras Al Khor workshop. Your home stays clean while the dusty work happens elsewhere.
Installation
Finally, our own fitters, usually one to three days on site. We scribe to the walls and adjust every door before we leave.
Materials and finishes for carpentry in Mira Oasis
Carpentry in Mira Oasis townhouses takes daily use from children, cleaners and the occasional flood from a washing machine. So we choose materials for that life, not for the showroom.
Moisture-resistant board
The carcass material for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, especially anywhere water may reach. It does not swell at the base when a pipe drips, which is the usual failure.
Laminate & melamine
Hard-wearing and economical, especially for wardrobe interiors, utility rooms and children’s rooms. Hundreds of colours and wood-grain prints, so there is always a match.
Veneer & lacquer
The visible faces, in other words the part you touch every day. Veneer where the grain matters, sprayed lacquer where you want a clean colour. Both also get sealed edges.
If you want to understand the options before the survey, read our cabinet materials guide and the comparison of sliding versus hinged wardrobe doors.
Where we work in Mira Oasis
We cover Mira Oasis 1, 2 and 3 and the whole of Reem. The Mira clusters have their own page, because the house types are different.

FAQs about carpentry in Mira Oasis
How long does a media wall take?
About three weeks from approved drawings until installation. The workshop build takes two weeks and the fitting takes one day. In addition, we route the cables and fit the lighting on the same day, so the wall is ready to use that evening.
Does Emaar need to approve internal carpentry?
No. Internal joinery needs no community approval. External work does, for example a pergola, and we prepare the drawings and trade documents for that application. The rules follow the Dubai Building Code.
Can you match the existing kitchen colour?
Usually, yes. We take a door to the workshop, match the lacquer or laminate, and send you a sample before we make anything. If an exact match is impossible, we will tell you and suggest a two-tone scheme instead.
What does a kitchen refit cost in Mira Oasis?
Replacement doors and worktops cost a fraction of a new kitchen, especially when the carcasses are sound. Our kitchen cabinet cost guide gives current ranges, and the survey turns them into a fixed price.
Do you work while tenants are living in the house?
Yes, and we do it often for landlords. We agree the dates with the tenant, protect the floors and finish each room before we start the next.
Can we move the pieces to another house later?
Often, yes. Tell us at the survey and we will design freestanding or demountable units instead of building into the plaster.
