Carpentry in Dubai Hills
Carpentry in Dubai Hills covers three very different homes: Maple and Sidra townhouses, Club Villas and Golf Place villas, and the apartments around Park Heights and the mall. Each needs its own approach, so we measure first and design around the layout you actually have.
We make all the work in our Ras Al Khor workshop, fifteen minutes away, and then our own fitters install it.
Fig. 01Kitchen refit, new fronts on existing carcassesWhy carpentry in Dubai Hills is its own job
Dubai Hills Estate was built by Emaar in phases, and the phases differ, so the brief does too. Maple 1 to 3 and Sidra are townhouses and semi-detached villas with three to five bedrooms and compact gardens. Club Villas, Golf Place and Fairway Vistas are larger detached houses on the golf course. Meanwhile, Park Heights, Collective and the Executive Residences are apartments with tower rules.
For the townhouses, therefore, the brief is almost always storage. The handover wardrobes are shallow, the kitchen has one tall unit, and the maid’s room has none. So we add full-height wardrobes, a pantry and laundry shelving, and a media wall in the family room. In the larger villas, however, the requests are different: dressing rooms, a majlis, a study and a staircase with real handrails.
In every case, however, Emaar manages the community. Internal joinery needs no approval, but pergolas, external doors and anything visible from the street do. Because we have run that process many times, we supply the documents the application asks for.

These pieces show the range of carpentry in Dubai Hills homes we handle, from a townhouse kitchen refit to a villa dressing room.
From survey to installation
Send your community and house type, for example Sidra Type 3M, and a few photographs of the rooms that need carpentry in Dubai Hills. Because we have measured most of these layouts before, we can often give a budget figure the same day.
Survey
Before anything else, we visit the house, measure every wall that matters and photograph the space. Send the villa type beforehand, because it tells us a lot before we arrive.
Drawings
Following that, you receive the layout, the materials and the finish samples. Nothing goes to the workshop until you approve it.
Fixed quotation
We price it line by line, so you can remove an item without re-pricing the rest. Then compare it using our guide to comparing joinery quotes.
Manufacture
Then we cut, assemble and finish every piece at our Ras Al Khor workshop. Your home stays clean while the dusty work happens elsewhere.
Installation
Finally, our own fitters, usually one to three days on site. We scribe to the walls and adjust every door before we leave.
Materials and finishes for carpentry in Dubai Hills
The right material for carpentry in Dubai Hills depends on the room, as well as on who uses it. For a family townhouse we lean towards durability; for a golf-course villa we lean towards veneer and stone.
Veneer
The closest you get to solid timber, at a much lower price than the real thing. Oak, walnut and ash are the usual choices, and we also match the grain across doors.
Sprayed lacquer
Gives the flat, seamless face that most modern kitchens and wardrobes need, especially in handle-less designs. Any colour, matt or satin, and it also repaints later.
Solid timber
For tables, stair treads and anything that takes daily knocks, so strength comes first. We use kiln-dried hardwood so it stays stable in air conditioning.
Every carcass is moisture-resistant board with sealed edges, and every hinge and runner is soft-close as standard. In addition, our cabinet materials guide explains the differences in plain language.

FAQs about carpentry in Dubai Hills
Do I need Emaar approval for a wardrobe or kitchen refit?
No. Internal joinery needs no community approval. A pergola, an external door or a garden room does, and we supply the drawings and trade documents for that application. Our Emaar NOC guide explains the process step by step.
Can you work in a Park Heights apartment?
Yes. Apartment work needs a building permit and a lift booking first, so we design every unit in sections that fit the service lift. Installation then happens inside the building’s permitted hours.
What does a fitted wardrobe cost in Dubai Hills?
It depends on width, interior and finish, as well as the hardware. Our fitted wardrobe cost guide gives current ranges per running metre, and the survey turns them into a fixed quotation.
How long will a kitchen refit take?
Replacement doors, drawers and a new worktop take about three weeks from approval, with two days on site. A complete new kitchen, by comparison, takes five to six weeks.
Can we stay in the house during the work?
Almost always. The cutting and spraying happen in our workshop, so on-site work is assembly and fixing. We protect the floors and finish one room before we start the next.
Do you repaint existing kitchens?
Yes. If the carcasses are sound, then we can spray-repaint the doors in a new colour for far less than replacing them. Send a photograph and we will tell you which option makes sense.
