Carpentry in Arabian Ranches
Carpentry in Arabian Ranches means working inside a house that already has a shape. Developers handed the villas over with a kitchen, a set of wardrobes and little else. So we design the storage that is missing, build it in our own workshop in Ras Al Khor, and fit it ourselves.
Because the same team measures, makes and installs, one company answers for the finished result.
Fig. 01Fitted work, Ras Al Khor workshopWhy carpentry in Arabian Ranches is its own job
The community is not one uniform estate. Al Reem and Al Vorada villas sit closer together with compact internal rooms. Mirador and Rahat houses run larger, and often arrive with a long open ground floor that swallows furniture. Each type has its own awkward corner, so a catalogue wardrobe rarely fits any of them.
Two practical constraints shape the work. First, most properties sit under Emaar community management, so an alteration needs approval before it starts. We hold the trade licence and insurance documents that the application asks for, and we have run this process many times. Second, occupied homes need careful sequencing. Most families stay in the villa while we work, so we cut and finish in the workshop and keep on-site assembly brief.
Rental periods matter as well. Because a large part of the community rents, we design pieces that can be dismantled and moved rather than built into the plaster. If you expect to move within a few years, say so at the survey, and the drawings will reflect it.

From survey to installation
For Emaar approvals we supply the scope of work, the material specification and our trade documents. Submit those with your application, and the approval normally clears before the manufacturing week ends.
Survey
We visit the villa, measure every wall that matters, and photograph the space. Send the plot number beforehand and we will check the community access rules.
Drawings
You receive the layout, the materials and the finish samples. Nothing goes to the workshop until you approve it.
Fixed quotation
Priced line by line, so you can add or drop an element without renegotiating the whole job.
Manufacture
Cut, assembled and finished at our workshop in Ras Al Khor. This is where most of the calendar time sits, and where we avoid the on-site dust.
Installation
Our own fitters, usually one to three days for a villa. We protect the floors, contain the work area and clear up each day.
Materials and finishes for carpentry in Arabian Ranches
Specifying the material matters more here than the design does. A pale veneer that looks calm in a showroom can turn yellow under a west-facing window, so we choose finishes for the room rather than for the catalogue. In practice, three options cover most Arabian Ranches work.
Veneer
The closest to solid timber, and it takes a stain well. Best where you want the grain to carry the room.
Sprayed lacquer
Gives the flat, seamless face that modern interiors lean on, and it repaints cleanly later.
Solid timber
For tables, stair treads and anything that has to carry weight. You can sand it back rather than replace it.
Because the climate is dry and air-conditioned, we seal every edge and use moisture-resistant board in utility rooms and bathrooms. Handles, hinges and drawer runners come from the same supplier across the job, so a replacement in three years still matches.
Areas we cover for carpentry in Arabian Ranches
We work throughout Arabian Ranches and the surrounding communities. Because our workshop sits in Ras Al Khor, the drive to this side of the city is straightforward, and a second visit for a small adjustment is realistic rather than a special trip.
Not sure whether we cover your street? Send the plot number with a photograph of the space, and we will confirm before you commit to anything.
FAQs about carpentry in Arabian Ranches
Do you need Emaar approval before starting?
Yes, for anything fixed to the structure. We provide the scope, the drawings and our trade documents so you can submit the application, and the work follows the Dubai Building Code. Most owners handle the submission themselves, and we are happy to review it before it goes in. Our Emaar NOC guide for Arabian Ranches sets out exactly which documents each side provides.
How long does a fitted wardrobe take?
Around three to four weeks from approved drawings to installation, and one day on site. Because the workshop does the cutting, the villa stays liveable throughout.
Can we stay in the house while you work?
Almost always, and most families do. We assemble in short on-site windows, protect the floors, and leave the space usable at the end of each day. We finish and cure anything with a strong smell before it arrives.
Will the work fit an existing style?
That is the point of a measured survey rather than a catalogue. Bring a photograph, a sample or a mood board, and the drawings will match the skirting, the door profile and the existing timber tone.
What does it cost?
It depends on the run length, the finish and the internal fittings, so we quote after the survey. The survey and the drawings are free, and we itemise the quotation so each element carries its own price.
Can the pieces move with us?
Often yes. Tell us at the survey if you rent or expect to relocate, and we will design modules that unbolt and travel rather than a fully built-in run.
