Home Renovation in Dubai
A home renovation goes better when the rooms are planned together, even if you build them one at a time. So we survey the whole house first. Then we agree what happens now, what waits, and how each room will match the next.

- Whole house or one room We plan both, with drawings kept for later stages.
- Made to measure Cabinets, wardrobes and doors from our Ras Al Khor workshop.
- One programme Trades sequenced so that finished work is not damaged.
- Lived-in homes We discuss which rooms stay usable during the work.
At Home
Where to start
Planning a home renovation in the right order
Most families do not renovate everything at once. Instead, they start with the room that causes the most trouble, which is usually the kitchen or a bathroom. That works well, provided the first room does not block the second.
For example, a new kitchen may need a new circuit, and a bathroom may share a wall with a bedroom wardrobe. For that reason, we look at the whole floor plan before we draw a single room. You then know the order, and nothing has to be redone later.
A full home renovation usually touches some of these:
- kitchens, bathrooms and laundry areas
- bedrooms, wardrobes and dressing rooms
- living, dining and entrance spaces
- ceilings, walls, doors and paint throughout
- lighting, sockets and plumbing for new layouts

Villa or apartment?
Home renovation depends on the building
In a villa, you control most of the property. As a result, layouts can change more freely, and outdoor areas can join the plan. Community rules and developer approvals still apply, however, especially for anything visible from outside. Our villa renovation page covers this in more detail.
In an apartment, the building sets firmer limits. Drainage, fire systems and air-conditioning ducts belong to the tower, and work hours are usually restricted. Even so, an apartment can change a great deal inside those rules. See apartment renovation for how we plan around them. Townhouses sit in between, so our townhouse renovation page covers them separately.
Joinery first
Why the joinery shapes the whole home
Fitted joinery gives a renovated home its character. Doors, wardrobes, kitchen fronts and shelving all repeat from room to room. So we choose one family of materials and details, then use it throughout.
That approach also helps with budget. For instance, you can renovate the kitchen this year and the bedrooms next year, and the two will still match. We keep your drawings and finish records for exactly that reason.

Process
How a home renovation runs with us
- Whole-home survey We measure every room in scope and note what the building allows.
- Room order Together, we agree which rooms come first and how the family keeps living in the house.
- Drawings and samples You approve layouts and finishes before anything is cut.
- Itemised quotation Each room and trade is priced separately.
- Build and install Meanwhile, joinery is made in our workshop while the trades prepare the rooms.
- Handover Finally, we walk each room with you and return to close the snags.
Building work in Dubai follows the Dubai Building Code, alongside any rules your building or community sets.
Budget
What affects the cost of a home renovation
A home renovation has no standard price, because homes differ so much. Instead, these points decide most of the cost:
- the rooms included, and whether any layout changes
- the materials for cabinets, wardrobes and doors
- tiles, stone, fixtures and appliances
- the amount of electrical, plumbing and ceiling work
Timing matters too. For example, staging the work over several months can suit a family budget, although it adds some repeat set-up on site.
We therefore price each room and trade as its own line. That way, you can see what each choice costs and decide what to do now. Our quote checklist lists what to send for a faster estimate.
Questions
Home renovation FAQs
Can we stay at home during the renovation?
Usually, yes. We plan the sequence so that you keep a working bathroom and, where possible, a usable kitchen area. However, a full kitchen refit does make cooking harder for a while.
Do I have to renovate the whole house at once?
No. In fact, most clients work in stages. We plan the whole house first, so later rooms match the earlier ones.
Which room should we start with?
Usually the room that affects daily life most, which is often the kitchen. Still, services matter too, so we check whether any wiring or plumbing work should happen first.
Do you also renovate offices?
Yes. Our office renovation page covers commercial work.
