Children's Room Renovation in Dubai
A children’s room renovation has to work for years, not months. A toddler’s room soon needs a desk, and a shared room may need to split in two. So we plan the room in stages: what it needs now, and how the same joinery adapts as your children grow.

- Sleep Beds, bunks and loft beds built to the room.
- Study Desks and shelves at the right height.
- Play Open floor and easy-reach storage.
- Grows with them Adjustable shelves and flexible layouts.

Zones
Plan a children's room renovation in three zones
Generally, children’s rooms need space to sleep, study and play. In a small room, those zones overlap. For example, a loft bed can lift sleeping off the floor, so a desk or play area fits underneath.
When we plan the room, we think about:
- how many children share it, now and later
- the age of each child and their next stage
- where natural light falls for a desk
- storage children can reach themselves
- clear floor for play and getting dressed
As a result, the room stays useful as routines change.
Scope
What a children's room renovation can include
Beds
Single beds, bunk beds and loft beds, each sized to the room. In addition, storage beds add drawers underneath.
Study desks
A desk needs good light, a shelf above and space for a laptop, especially for homework. See study tables for options.
Wardrobes
Wardrobes with adjustable rails, so the hanging height rises as children grow.
Toy and book storage
Low drawers and open shelves also let younger children tidy up themselves.
Window seats
A window seat adds a reading spot with storage underneath.
Finishes
Washable paint and durable surfaces cope with daily wear, especially in younger children’s rooms.
Safety
Safety in a children's room renovation
Children climb, pull and lean on furniture. So we fix tall wardrobes and shelving securely to the wall, and we fit guard rails on raised beds. We also round exposed corners where small children play.
We follow the manufacturer’s guidance for hardware, including soft-close hinges and drawer stops. However, we do not claim any formal safety certification for our furniture. If your family has a specific need, tell us at the start, and we will plan around it.
Electrical points matter too. We place sockets where they are needed and away from beds, through our electrical works team.
Process
How a children's room renovation runs
- Visit Initially, we measure the room and talk about each child’s routine.
- Layout Then we plan sleep, study and play zones, now and later.
- Samples After that, you choose colours and finishes together with your children.
- Workshop Meanwhile, we build the furniture in Ras Al Khor.
- Site work Before installation, the trades complete any paint or electrical work.
- Installation Finally, our team fits and secures every piece.
Building work in Dubai follows the Dubai Building Code, alongside any rules your building or community sets.
Budget
What affects the cost of a children's room renovation
We price each children’s room renovation from the room and the furniture list, because no two are alike. These factors matter most:
- bed type, especially bunks and loft beds
- the length of wardrobe and storage
- desk and shelving
- materials and finishes
- paint and electrical work
Flexible furniture can save money later. For instance, a wardrobe with adjustable rails avoids a rebuild when your child reaches their teens.
Before we visit, send photos of the room, its rough size and the ages of your children.
Questions
Children's room renovation FAQs
Can two children share a small room?
Often, yes. Bunk beds or loft beds free up floor space, so each child can still have a desk.
Will the furniture still suit a teenager?
If we plan it that way, yes. Adjustable shelves and rails help, while neutral finishes age well.
Do you fix wardrobes to the wall?
Yes. We secure tall units to the wall as standard.
Can you paint the room as well?
Yes. Our painting team uses washable finishes suited to children’s rooms.
