Wooden Wall Panelling & Cladding in Dubai
Panelling is what stops a large room feeling like a plain box. We design, make and fit fluted, slatted and flat wooden wall panelling for homes, offices and reception areas across Dubai.
Although most jobs start with a photograph and a rough measurement, we draw the wall properly before quoting. Consequently the panel widths, the reveals and the positions of sockets are settled on paper rather than on site.
Panelling is rarely the whole job. Where a room needs a wider scheme, we cover that under our architectural design services.
Feature walls with real presence
Fluted and slatted profiles change with the light through the day, which is why they work so well behind a seating area or a bed. Flat panelling with a shadow gap is the quieter option and suits a hallway or a lift lobby.
We set out the rhythm of the panel before anything is cut, so the joints land where they should rather than wherever the wall ends.
The same setting-out discipline applies to wooden staircases, where the first riser fixes the line for every tread above it.
Tailored finishes and details
Choose natural veneer, painted MDF, solid timber or a mix. Because the finish decides how the joints read, we usually show two or three samples against your own light before you commit. We also integrate display niches, concealed lighting, cable routes and speaker positions into the panel itself rather than cutting into it afterwards.
On commercial jobs we also work to the fire rating the building requires, and we can supply the treatment certificates for both the panel and the substrate.
What affects the price of wooden wall panelling
Profile complexity, the area covered, and whether the wall needs battens, lighting or services integrated behind it. A flat panel run and a curved slatted wall are therefore different jobs, even when the two areas measure the same.
As a guide, a plain painted wall is the least expensive option. A full-height slatted wall with concealed lighting costs more, because of the machining and the setting-out time. Yes, and we would rather cut them in the workshop than on site. Send photographs of the wall with the socket positions marked, so the set-out accounts for them.
