Fit-Out in Meydan Horizon
Fit-out in Meydan Horizon starts before the keys do. The community is new, with villas, townhouses and apartments around a lagoon, and the first handovers are arriving with standard kitchens and open wardrobes. So the sensible time to plan fitted joinery is now, from the developer’s plans, and then confirm it the day you get access. We build everything five minutes away in Ras Al Khor.
Because we work from the plans first, the joinery is ready when the house is, and you move into a finished home rather than a project.

Fit-out in Meydan Horizon: every phase
Meydan Horizon is a new master community between the racecourse and District 11, released in phases. Because the phases hand over at different times, we plan each one around its own schedule.
Phase names follow the developer’s launch plans and will change as the community hands over. Send your unit number and we will confirm the schedule before you commit to anything. We also cover Meydan, District 11, Nad Al Sheba and Mohammed Bin Rashid City, and the full list is on areas we serve in Dubai.
What fit-out in Meydan Horizon covers
Most of our work in Meydan Horizon is one of six things, so here they are. Each one starts from the plans and then a measured survey, because the two rarely agree.

Full-height units for every bedroom, planned from the drawings and then confirmed on site before anything is cut. See also fitted wardrobes.

A media wall or slatted screen that gives an open ground floor its focal point, with cables and ventilation designed in. See also TV units and media walls.

Upgrade the standard kitchen with a larder, new fronts or a stone top, or otherwise rebuild the run entirely. See also kitchen makeovers.

Pull-out larders, laundry shelving and entrance storage, because these are the rooms every handover plan leaves bare. See also laundry and utility storage.

Fitted desks and shelving for a study or home office, especially in the townhouses with a spare room. See also office renovation.

Moisture-resistant vanities with stone tops, because a bathroom is the hardest room on joinery. See also bathroom vanities.
From the plans to installation
Plans and survey
Before handover we work from the developer’s plans, then we measure the real walls as soon as you have access, because the two rarely agree.
Drawings and approval
Before anything else, you receive the layout, the materials and physical samples. For anything fixed to the structure we also supply the trade documents, and the work follows the Dubai Building Code.
Fixed quotation
Priced line by line, so you can add or drop an element without renegotiating the whole job. Then nothing goes to the workshop until you sign it off.
Manufacture
Then we build during the handover period in Ras Al Khor, so the joinery is ready when the keys are. The dust happens in our workshop, not your new hallway.
Installation
Finally our own fitters install in one to three days, usually the week you move in. We also protect the new floors and clear up at the end of each day.
Materials and finishes for fit-out in Meydan Horizon
A fit-out in Meydan Horizon has to match a brand-new handover finish and then outlast it, so we specify for daily use first and appearance second, and we get both. Three options, however, cover most of the work we do here.
Moisture-resistant board
- Best for
- Carcasses for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, especially anywhere water may reach.
- Finish
- Laminate or melamine inside, together with sealed edges throughout.
- Watch for
- Swelling at the base when a pipe drips, which is the usual failure, so every edge is sealed.
Laminate and melamine
- Best for
- Wardrobe interiors, utility rooms and especially children’s rooms that take daily knocks.
- Finish
- Hundreds of colours and wood-grain prints, so there is always a match.
- Watch for
- Visible joints on long runs, so we plan the panel layout before cutting.
Veneer and lacquer
- Best for
- The visible faces, in other words the part you touch every day.
- Finish
- Veneer where the grain matters, otherwise sprayed lacquer where you want a clean colour.
- Watch for
- Mixing the two on one piece, so we sample both together before we commit.
Fit-out detail
Finally, here are seven plates from recent work. Each one was drawn for a specific room, and that is the only reason any of them fit.

FAQs about fit-out in Meydan Horizon
Can you plan the joinery before handover?
Yes, and we recommend it. We draw from the developer’s plans, price the package, then confirm every wall on the day you get access, so the workshop build starts without delay.
What if the built house differs from the plans?
It usually does, slightly, so nothing is cut until the survey. If a wall is narrower than drawn, we adjust the drawings and the price before manufacture.
Do I need community approval before internal joinery?
No. Internal work needs no approval. External structures such as pergolas do, and the Dubai Building Code applies. We supply the trade documents for that application.
How long does a full package take?
Three to five weeks from approved drawings, although we can build during the handover period. Installation then takes one to three days, usually the week you move in.
Can you match the handover kitchen and door finishes?
Usually, yes. We take a sample from the house to the workshop and match the laminate or lacquer, then send you a swatch before we cut anything.
What does it cost?
We price each item separately, so you can see the wardrobes against the media wall. Our quote checklist explains what a complete quotation should include.
