Dressing Room Renovation in Dubai

A dressing room renovation treats the whole room as one design, not just a row of wardrobes. Light, mirrors, seating and floor space matter as much as hanging rails. So we plan where you dress, where things are stored and how the room feels, before we build the joinery in our workshop.

Dressing

More than wardrobes

What makes a dressing room renovation different

Walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms overlap, but the focus differs. A walk-in wardrobe is mainly storage. In contrast, a dressing room is where you actually get ready, so it needs space to move, a place to sit and lighting you can trust. If you mostly need storage, our walk-in closets page covers that.

A dressing room renovation usually brings together:

  • fitted wardrobes on one or more walls
  • a central island with drawers, if the room is wide enough
  • a full-length mirror with good light
  • a bench or stool for shoes
  • lighting, sockets and, where needed, gypsum and paint

Because all of these share one room, we draw them together from the start.

Inside the joinery

Planning the storage in a dressing room

Long and short hanging

Dresses and coats need long hanging, while shirts and jackets need short hanging. So we measure your wardrobe before we set rail heights.

Drawers

Drawers suit folded clothes, underwear and accessories. In addition, shallow drawers with dividers keep watches and jewellery organised.

Shoe storage

Angled or flat shelves hold shoes where you can see them. If space allows, a tall shoe column keeps them off the floor.

Doors or open

Open shelving makes everything visible, but it collects dust. Glass doors offer a middle ground.

Island

An island adds drawer space and a surface for folding. However, it needs about a metre of clearance all round.

Lighting inside

LED strips inside cabinets show the colour of clothes clearly, especially in deep wardrobes.

From our workshop

Wardrobes built to the room

Dressing rooms rarely have perfect walls. There may be a window, an AC grille or a column in the way. Since we make the wardrobes ourselves, we work around each of these rather than leave awkward gaps.

Finishes also matter here. For example, mirrored or glass doors make a narrow room feel wider, while veneer and lacquer give a warmer feel. Our sliding wardrobes page compares door types.

Process

How a dressing room renovation runs

  1. Visit Initially, we measure the room and look at what you need to store.
  2. Layout Then we draw the wardrobes, island, mirror and lighting together.
  3. Samples After that, you choose finishes, handles and interior fittings.
  4. Workshop Meanwhile, we build the joinery in Ras Al Khor.
  5. Site work Before installation, the trades complete any lighting, gypsum or paint.
  6. Installation Finally, our team fits and adjusts every door and drawer.

Budget

What affects the cost of a dressing room renovation

We price every dressing room renovation from the room and your storage list, because no two are alike. The main factors are:

  • the length of wardrobe wall
  • the number of drawers and internal fittings
  • door style, including glass or mirror
  • an island, if included
  • lighting, electrical and finishing work

Drawers cost more than shelves, because each one needs runners and a box. So we suggest drawers where they help most and shelves elsewhere.

If you are only updating existing wardrobes, wardrobe renovation may cost much less than a full rebuild.

Questions

Dressing room renovation FAQs

How big does a dressing room need to be?

It depends on the layout. Even so, a narrow room can work with wardrobes on one side and a mirror on the other.

Can you turn a spare bedroom into a dressing room?

Yes, that is one of the most common requests. We check the windows, doors and services first.

Can I keep my existing wardrobes?

Sometimes. If the carcasses are sound, we can refit the interiors or replace the doors.

Do you install lighting inside wardrobes?

Yes. Our electrical team adds the power, while we build the lighting into the joinery.
